hello mammas I hope everyone is feeling great....with the exception on not sleeping and hot, tired and achey but anyway...I am due July 20 but I am having doubts that i will be that long...I am wondering if you all have names picked out and if you wanna share..we have a beautiful 2 year old now named Lily and we are expecting our Baby boy we have decided on Ethan...I have recently started addressing cards and such with all of our names and it is so neat to add another especiallly a boy, I never have had a boy in our family, no brothers of grandsons so we are excited..ANYWAY I hope you are all doing well...And WOW are your babes doing the Cha Cha in your bellies too???

We are having a boy too! I am so excited to have one of each
Boys names are so much harder to decide on than girls...for us anyway.
I have narrowed it down to Logan or Nicholas middle name Owen or Stephen thats as far as i think we are going to get! LOL

Wow, I really need some help with this! I am thinking about starting a general post just asking people for name ideas.

I don't know if we're having a boy or a girl. For a boy the name we like the most so far is Devon, but I'd prefer to have some other ideas because I really want to see the baby first before I decide. And unfortunately, a lot of the boys names we like rhyme with ds's name, so they are out. I also like Jackson, but dh doesn't. We have tossed around Connor.

For girls, we are considering Charlotte, Harper, Emily (which I love but it is just soooo popular), Kendall. But nothing is really jumping out at me as perfect.

This baby girl is Kiersten Alda. This was the name we had picked out when we had Lars and Dane as well! Kiersten is just a nice Scandinavian name and Alda was my grandma's name.

We did a pretty good search for other names, but didn't find anything else that really hit us.

Not sure about a boy's name just in case the u/s is wrong, but I'm leaning towards Anders Ekko or Torin Ekko for a boy (Ekko is also a family name).

Hello all,

Well I did go and get a u/s when baby was about 25 or 27 weeks. I never got one with my other 3 (I have 3 girls and wanted to know what it was...after having had an u/s and not having had one for 3 kids I think next time I will opt not to do it...anyway thats not what this thread is about ) so they told me it was another girl. We are planning on either Maryam (Mary) or Sumayyah. My dh likes Sumayyah more I lean more towards Maryam.

We are having a girl and her name is Artemis. We all like the name, but ds, once he heard it, refused to call the baby anything else. The flower artemesia is desert sagebrush, and our ds is named Sage. So we like that connection. We haven't decided on a middle name. Dh does't like what I like, and we just havent' talked about it much yet.

I love Scandinavian names... and I love your boy choices! We went to Scandinavia on our honeymoon.

I love that name Torin. Do you mind if I consider it if I have a boy? It makes me think the baby would be very strong and healthy, with that name. Like a greek god. :LOL Anyways, I have a name (sort-of) picked out... Nemaya Zion. I love n-names, so soft and sweet. The Zion part is from my hippy rainbow-child roots I made the name nemaya up.

We are having a boy and his name will be Parker Holden. If the us was wrong than the baby's name will be Tabitha Marie.

We have both a girl and a boy name picked out. So far, all indications are that Moo is a girl.

However, following in the Jewish customs, I cannot share these names until she is born.... Sorry.....

I am not set on anything, I love so many names, lots of older ones. I must meet the babe first. When my daughter was being born my husband said she just looked like her name should be Olive. It was on our list, but I thought it would be Mate' (pronounced like the tea) which ended up being her middle name. So, if anyone would care to comment on my way to extensive list, that would be great!!!
Girls...chloe, emmy, naomi, norah, sariah, lucy, anai (ahnyee), luz, india
boys...milo, sy. silas, ira, eli, rami (rayme), indigo

Our baby girl's name is Lila Kerry . Lila is for my favorite great-grandmother. Her maiden name was the same as my married name. She lived to be 99, so I knew her well. Kerry is in memory of a good friend who died far too young.

I love hearing ds say his sister's name. He calls her "Wiwa"! He asks "Can Wiwa come out yet? She needs to be born!"

I have always loved Naomi. It was my step grandmother's name and we called her Omi. Lucy is my moms name!
Oopss ds waking up, must run!

midwifer~ I love Sariah, India, Eli, & Indigo

Ooh, Lila is such a pretty name!

We are stuck between two names (well and a few others, but mainly just the two ) Carter and Carson

Any preferences/opinions?

having a hard time thinkin' of anything for a boy (pretty sure).
I want it to be a sophisticated/elegant/European/Old Worldish name & something that sounds good with Isabella.
Thinking of Jean-Pierre at this point, but dh doesn't like "pierre" so...
still thinking.
Like Jean-Luc and Jean-Claude, too...
I really want to name the baby a name I really like as well as a name the baby really wants to called during this lifetime.

michelle~~how bout jean-micheal? I know someone with that name and the micheal is pronounced like your name, actually.
I like both Jean-Luc and Jean-Claude.

We've had a name picked out since we got married actually, LOL. One of those long "getting to know you" conversations. Anyhow, I'd said I liked the name Maia Grace, it stuck in DH's mind, and there was no question for him. This was six years ago, though, so he had to convince me. But I liked Maia from mythology and have always thought Grace was a pretty name so it wasn't that hard to convince me.

We are pretty sure it's a boy so we've narrowed to down now to 2 names.

Liam Thomas
Alexander William

If it turns out to be a girl then her name would be Isabella (need to find a middle name).
