With my first I was about 20 weeks. With my 2nd I think I was about 18. Now I'm 19 and still thinking maybe, maybe I'm feeling flutters. Anyone else feel them late? Everyone keeps telling me they feel it at 12 or 14 weeks. Is it just me?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

Oh I am so glad you said that!!! I'm about 19-19.5 weeks, and I've just barely begun to feel flutters and occasional movement. It seems like everyone else started feeling movements and even kicks months ago! I definitely don't feel it every day yet.
Once, when I was about 15-16 weeks I swore I felt the baby--felt like someone brushing their fingertip on the inside of my tummy. But it could very easily have been gas moving.
This last weekend I woke up in the morning and had my usual argument with myself in my head..."Ohhhh, I really have to pee! ... But I'm soooooo tired... But I really need to go pee!! ... But my bed is so nice and cozy..."
Then suddenly I felt what seemed like baby rolling over UP AGAINST MY BLADDER! So then I had to get up right away, or there would have been trouble!
But really, other than that, there hasn't been much. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Just thought I'd add this... At my 16 week appointment, my doc was almost hesitant to even ask if I'd felt anything! "You probably haven't yet, it's a little too early, but have you felt anything yet?" He said that by my next appt (21 weeks) I might be feeling "something." Very reassuring!!

I haven't. I'm 17 weeks. I'd felt movement by now with Kaia but it's totally normal to not feel movement at this stage. To be honest with you I get a bit sceptical when the millionth person tells me they felt movement at 12 weeks. I've felt things that I could call movement but I know they are much more likely to be general stomach things, twitching muscles etc.

I felt movement alot later than I expected, too. I just started feeling definate movement last week, I'm about 19 weeks now. My last pregnancy I was 14 weeks when I felt it regularly. I guess I just expected to feel it the same time or sooner...
It'll happen soon and in a few months, we'll all probably be posting "I wish the baby would stop moving so I can sleep!" (I can't wait

I know what you mean
It's just that I find it so much easier to bond witht the baby or even feel pregnant - as opposed to having a really huge beer belly - once I can feel someone in there, kwim?

About once a week over the past few weeks I've thought I might be feeling something, but then, just the past few days have I really been more confident in what I'm feeling- more consistent and more frequent. I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow. With dd I was more like 22 weeks when I was sure I was feeling her.
I mostly feel it when I'm slouching forward a little at the computer- like I'm squishing the little one and s/he is pushing back.
: I certainly remember in the third trimester with dd leaning forward and getting some swift kicks.

I haven't felt much baby movement at all and I'm 19 weeks. It was starting to worry me since I felt the first two at 14 weeks consistantly. I just had my u/s today and the tech said that the reason I'm not feeling the babe is because of the way my placenta is positioned. The baby is kicking the placenta so I'm not feeling it much because it acts as a buffer, but he *is* moving

Well I'm 21 weeks tomorrow (or so) and I've finally been feeling the baby the last few days. I had felt things before but they were still so iffy it could have been my stomach rumbling instead. The last few days have definitly been movement. Makes me feel better. Dr's visit tomorrow.

i'm 18 weeks and have only been feeling the occasional thing that might possibly be the baby... and just for the last week. i could be totally making it up
but i'm hopeful i'll feel movement for sure soon... at the u/s today we could see the baby hiccuping, so i know there's *something* going on in there! knock knock!
this is my first pregnancy... i've heard that sometimes you feel it sooner in later pregnancies because you know what it feels like!
