Red Raspberry Leaf tea question - Page 2

Hey,
does anyone know more about the particular plant this is harvested from?
We have red Raspberry bushes growing all over the place, and I'm thinking... why exactly am I going to the store to buy what's growing outside my door?
I wonder if I could dry it like mint or any other herb/leaf?
Any advice?

the compleat mother magazine has a video, i believe, which they sell which talks about harvesting. i am also curious about harvesting the leaves. we planted 4 bushes last year. we even have a few berries ready to eat, but i have heard the ones down south are not as sweet as the northern varieties.

I've been drinking a quart or more a day for the past few weeks. I'm having a c/s but I figure it can't hurt! I'd like to have an easy recovery if possible and a strong uterus should theoretically recover quicker, right?

Does anyone know HOW this helps to tone the uterus ?

mealymama-- go ahead and harvest what you got! What you would buy in the store is leaves from regular old raspberry plants. As long as you don't spray or anything.
