Where else can I go?

I phoned the LLL group in my area and there are no more meetings untill September! The meetings are held on the 1st an 2nd Tuesday of each month thoughout the city, but there are no meetings in July or Aug. I hate that. I know people take holidays those two months, but it's like everything has to stop. Where else can I go? The LC in my area in in Monday afternoons, and Thurdsday mornings. My doc appointments are Monday afternoons and I have my two girls and a third (for anther week). I can't take them to see the LC and I don't have anyone who can watch them for me. Any other suggestions? My lactation doctor is great, but she's passive. She does'nt tell me to do, or not to do something. She is letting me figure it out. She's not telling me what to expect or what not to expect. She's not even really paying attention to the way he nurses. It's pretty much a wiegh-in.

I fail to see how she's great if she's not doing everything she can for you. I would give her a call and tell her you need to know more and need help or whathaveyou.

Well, for starters, I would go here and get some serious, knowledgeable on-line support. Is there an API chapter is your area? That might be a good place to meet some other parents who will at least be sympathetic and supportive. Ask the LLL leader if any of the regul;ars are friends outside the group. This is often the case, and maybe they get together other times?

Would one of the Leaders be willing to speak with you in person(eventhough they're not meeting)?
