New Soaker I knitted! Shorties!

These are what I'm calling shorties.... they fit her kind of like bikini cut boy shorts I love em! I want some more but a bit more fitted I think!

I did these on size *5* needles and it took 3 days instead of 1 but it is worth it because I think they are "thicker". They feel quite substantial. And I did I think it is called garter stitch? for teh crotch so it is more absorbent.

I have things I'd change on them, but don't we all???

They sound really cool, but I can't get the links to work.

ETA: Cool!! That's a neat looking soaker. And the model is just a doll.

I think they're adorable! Did you use a pattern? I want it! I love how the fabric is nice and drapey, yk? And the embellishments are cute, too!

Jayne.... umm, I am a pattern alter-er.... I take patterns and destroy them as I go.

I don't think my patterns are normal in the end I did short rows to make it big in the butt.... umm, what else? Knit in the round and then switched to garter for the "crotch".

Well, I think you should figure out what you did and sell it! I haven't seen any other soakers quite like it and I think I would buy the pattern if it was out there (then again, I'm an easy sell ). I really like how it's almost skirt-like with the wide legs and drapiness. It's a little feminine, but that's never stopped me. If I didn't just find a really great combo of yarn and pattern for milo, I'd be trying to copy it from the picture.

That looks great, I love the colors and the model makes the soaker even that much better looking.
