If you do, would you mind sharing your experience?
I'd like to start and am trying to get as much info as possible.

Thanks, Mary

I make their food off and on, when I just can't manage it time wise they eat Innova. I use raw fresh meat and vary it between chicken, beef, lamb and venison. I use no corn and very little rice, mainly oats, barley and kamut.
Eggs are the most bioavailable source of protein. I shred raw veggies as dogs don't digest raw veggies well, but if they are preshredded it's been shown they use more of it.
After 15 yrs of doing this off and on, the main piece of advice I can offer is don't panic!! Your dog will still live and be healthy if he gets a few unbalanced meals. To be honest, my males favorite meal is Kraft Dinner made with Flax Seed oil instead of butter.

I used to make my dogs food for about 4yrs (until dd was born) due to one of my dogs serious allergies. I followed Dr. Pitcairns Natural Health recipes. It totally cured my dogs skin allergy problems.
