My Boob on the Jumbo-Tron

Last week my family and I were in San Antonio for a LLL conference. We spent Thursday at Sea World So we're sitting in the stands waiting for the Shamu show and they are putting up pictures of people from the audience on the Jumbo-Tron. DD#1 asks to nurse and I oblige as we are watching. Then I look up and I am on the HUGE screen nursing DD : who just turned 2 yesterday She was wearing a hat so it was pretty descrete but you could tell I was nursing - then they scanned the rest of the family DH thought it was halarious and said "What if she pulled off?!?" "We would have had another nipple gate on our hands" : So the good people at Sea World got a little bit of nursing toddler education

Keri

PS It was so nice to be a vendor at the conference and nurse my girls wherever and whenever they or I wanted - not that I don't do that anyway but YKWIM

T my friend, a lactation consultant, was at the Central Park Zoo looking at the monkeys, and noticed a nursing monkey. The monkey zookeeper was standing nearby, so she commented on the nursing monkey. The zookeeper said something like "yes, they nurse as long as humans do" and my friend said "oh really, like 4+ years?" and the zookeeper was shocked and said, no, only 3 months or so. So my friend explained to her about the world average for bf, etc.

anyway, that was way off topic. I think it is hilarious that you got your boob on the jumbo tron!! I hope everyone could figure out what you were doing!!
