Best material for un-paper towels?

So, we don't use paper towels, we just use hand towels but I mastered the overlock stitch on my sewing machine and I want to make some un-paper towels. What does everyone like in their un-paper towels? Hemp? I don't know but I want to make about 30...

Anyone???

Considering how well Lyndsey's diapers have held up with frequent washing, I would go with a jersy hemp.

I like my flannel ones for use as napkins but for clean ups I use hemp terry.

The flannel is nice and soft on the face and the hemp terry is absorbant and durable.
