I thought we had a thread on this but I could not find one! Over the weekend two friends and I went up on one of our mountains and took pictures of my growing belly. So far I only have the pictures from my digital camera. We had another digital camera and film shots taken, so soon I will have those too. But, I thought I would post some of them here. I seem to remember others expressing interest in having professional photos taken of their pregnancy. I did not have a professional but my one friend has a degree in photography and I think these came out really well. Anyway, here's the link: http://community.webshots.com/album/152675237TqWGIk

To go along with the link I have a story that I am sure you will all love. At one of the overlooks where we were taking pictures a woman walked by and expressed her opinion that what we were doing (taking pictures of my almost fully clothed pg body) was "DISGUSTING". My friend who was not taking pictures laid into her about how that was her opinion and that we thought it was beautiful and how could you find pregnancy disgustion. It was sort of funny (and sort of scary, I would never have had the guts to get into it with someone!).

at the woman who thought it was disgusting! How can pregnancy be anything but beautiful?!

And you wear it so well! You look so peaceful and happy and blessedly pregnant! I can only hope that my pg pics turn out as well. I especially love the one of you sitting on the rock and looking down... the second one I believe!

What gorgeous pictures! I haven't taken any this pregnancy, although DH is bugging me to.

I can't believe what that woman said! : I probably wouldn't have said a word either, but how awesome your friend did!

That poor women who thought what you were doing was disgusting. She obviously has some major self esteem issues, and a very fu#%@$-up veiw of the world, to not see a pregnant woman as anything but beautiful. You look great!!

Of course anyone can add pictures and I would love it if everyone would! Mamajaza, you look so wonderful in pictures! You're very photogenic.

dalimama~ Nice birth alter and belly cast! nice belly too! I have a birth alter as well, full of homeopathy, massage oil, and various neato things.

My Blessing ceremony was beautiful and the altar has things from each friend, many of which have been on birth altars before. Such a good energy! It is also filled with dried lavender.
I didn't get a belly cast amde with ds b/c he came so early, so we made this one at 34 weeks. If I go to 40w, I'm gonna want another!
