Mothers Who Think

I came across this book in a used section and bought it:
I had never heard of it but's FABULOUS. About 100 short
essays from Anne Lamott, Ariel Gore, Susie Bright and
many other amazing women writers.
It was put together by Salon online magazine editors,
which I hear also has a "mothers who think section."

I regularly go to the Salon site mostly to read the Mothers Who Think column. Thanks for posting about it here.

I read that book a while back and I loved it. I especially liked the "Drama Queen for a Day" essays.

yes, yes!
You must have a great memory to
remember the title.
I have read many books on motherhood,
but this may be my new favorite.

LOVE that book! I borrowed it from the library and renewed it twice! I could read those stories over and over...

Edited to say: I don't know much about Salon.com, but the book is titled 'Mothers Who Think' and is edited by Camile Peri and Kate Moses.

Steph, Salon.com used to be free, but now you need to subscribe to read all of it. I haven't been to that site in a long time, but Mothers Who Think used to be listed off the the left hand side with a lot of other things. I'm wondering if you need to subscribe to read it now.
