Morning Update...

Ended up over at the hospital this morning for labs/NST. All is looking good baby-wise, she's strong and hearty.

My labs are still looking ok (they did creatinine, uric acid, cbc, platelets, all that stuff).

So she stays in for now. BP was 140/100 at the office and then from 140-160/95-110 at the hospital, sitting up. Laying down, I am a lot lot lot better.

So I'm at home on bedrest, and I go back on Monday for more labs/NST/etc...

Oh, and I'm spilling trace protein.

I'm just praying to delay delay delay, you know?

Libby was with us, as we couldn't find a last minute sitter... she was very sweet and ended up falling asleep on me at the hospital. She snuggled against me so sweetly! Then when I was going pee she stole my bed The nurses just loved her!

teehee, mommy's helper equals daddy

Daddy is a teacher, and he is home for the summer Good timing!

I have my couch shoved up to the computer, so I am chilling here (mdc) all day in between naps and foot massages.. not a bad life

Oh Kimberly..what a day for you...please take it easy and keep us updated..I read through your other post and the mothers there who have BTDT seemed to be very confident that your baby will be fine....
Still hoping for a few weeks longer in your womb for your peace of mind.......

Kimberly, I've been out of this forum for a few days, and just catching up. I'm so glad to hear things are going... well, as well as could be hoped given the circumstances! I see that you're terrified of delivering early. My words of comfort are that a friend's son was born at 27 weeks, almost four pounds, and was a serious fighter - he still is (almost 3.5 now, and he's a whirlwind.) So, for my last pregnancy as well as this one, I started breathing easy when I hit the 27 week mark. I said, Ok, Brendan turned out fine at this stage, I don't *want* to go early, but I'm not afraid to now!

Here's keeping my fingers crossed for you!
