Finally! New wool for Joe! LOOK!

Joe got new wool! YAY He is a serious Elmo addict, so he finally got the Elmo soaker he has been *NEEDING* Anyway he is in LOVE with it, it is a bulky weight night time soaker, it is a bit big in the picture because it only has a trim pinhead on under it instead of the bulky night diaper it was made to go over but you get the idea....he keeps saying "Emo E-mo on butt!" and turning in circles like a dog chasing his tail...hehehe

That's adorable! did you make it?
I can't get Rowan to wear a soaker. I guess I'll have to suck it up and make a Dragon Tales soaker in Cassie pink !!! Of course, she's probably want to wear it on her head or something. sigh......

Yep I made it, I used the F & F pattern though instead of my own because then I wouldn't be tempted to sell it (ya can't unless you have the cottage license) I am really bad about starting very cute things for him and then needing the money and figuring I can "make it again" (and I never do) I put it up for sale. LOL I fixed that problem! and the fit is great on that pattern for night time!

HI!
My Rowan is a 2 yr old girl
I've been surprised at how many Rowans I've seen - an online friend named her baby Rowan a few months before mine was born - we hadn't even discussed names. It was freaky! We had our list of names and even tho we went thru them all we kept coming back to Rowan and it just fits her, ya know?

So is that duplicate stitich in the elmo embroidery?

And it looks like there's a more interesting texture on his nose, is that something other than duplicate stitch?

Really cute-- although I must confess that I don't know who elmo is. Sesame street?

LOL yes it is duplicate stitch for the whole thing, the nose just needed a little more 'filling in' than the rest, and yes Elmo is a Sesame Street thing, my kids room is done in Sesame Street (all four walls are a different solid color-yellow, red, blue and green) and then they have a SS border, he LOVES Elmo.....

T Forgive me for hijacking the thread with Rowan talk! But is Rowan a girl's name now? DH and I were thinking of naming the baby Rowan if it's a boy, but if it's becoming more popular as a girl's name, we may reconsider! (I still feel so sorry for the little boy named Hilary I went to school with. KWIM?)

And those soakers are the CUTEST thing ever! My two nieces Elmo, but they only wear disposables, so I guess it wouldn't do them much good, eh?
