I did it! Started my own company

After months of late night, learning html, learning...well everything new really, I finally did it. I have my new company up and going.

Looking back I'm not sure how I managed to keep sane and do it but I did. I have two wonderful kids and now I can work from home and be with them.

I'd love to hear other WAHMs stories!

I named my company partly after my daughter, Saffron.

I have my own company, but it is not web based. I started a children's theme party business. I am having a blast and am making a little money. Unfortunately, I will be selling it soon, as we are destined for the Foreign Service. But, while we are waiting, I am able to continue.

Congratulations! So very cool. Would you be interested/able in carrying a few more products? I'd love to see some Yonka (french- the best face creams etc...) and some fabulous skin oils by Aesop, an Australian company. Hard to find in the us, and last I checked, can't order from their webpage.

I am really happy for you! I have often wished to have my own business of some sort....I'm starting by renting rooms, fixing up my 10 acre spread...will convert my barn into a rental... that's my start to get on my feet financially.

I just started selling Fabric to make cloth diapers, and Im re-doing the store to Add all the sewing notions, and eventually I'll be selling WAHM made cloth diapers (but making them for me and my bestfriend and then for my sister first!!)
