Oh my gosh.. I think I went to warren too. I am so dumb! Is Warren the college with the dorms that look like prisons? I took my first two years of school at a community college... then I transfered to UCSD... and lived in a "transfer dorm" at revell... so I never lived at "my college" don't really associate much with it actually! I only lived on campus for half a year.. then moved to the beach.

Hi everyone!

First things first:

to Kate!! Ravenmoon, Serenity, and anyone I've missed (sorry!)

I haven't actually even been lurking...I've been away on a fabulous 30th birthday trip given to me by my wonderful wife, Beth! (I turned 30 on Wed.)--we biked 80 km from Ottawa to a darling little town and stayed in a B&B for two days...and then biked back 70 km today!! Very fun! A great sense of accomplishment (even if we did get driven 10 km today by a nice man who took pity on us when it started to HAIL in the middle of nowhere....)

Anyway, I wanted to say that while I love this thread and am so happy to be part of it...I need to take a little break right now since we are not actively TTCing and probably won't be for 1-2 months.
I care about all of you very much and may chime in from time to time when I can to offer and ..... but I will be back when we start TTCing again sometime....probably in the next few months. I just can't engage as much as I'd like to to be part of the thread right now... but I will follow all your news & look forward to rejoining you....

Cd 1 Finally

Well, after 5 long days of spotting, I'm finally getting my real period. Only 5 more days of blood. I'm tired of seeing blood. 11 days straight is too long. But, DD hasn't been nursing (the weaning is going OK, so maybe that will help).

Oh, and this cycle, here's what I'm doing . . .say yay or nay . . .
Throughout cycle: B complex vitamin (50 mg)
Pre-O: EPO
Post-O: Progesterone

Ravenmoon: I'm so happy that you're PG is looking VERY sticky! WOO HOO!

Erika: Glad the happy pills work . . .and can you come clean my house next? I'm just dying to throw things out . . .I feel very free when I get rid of things! Oh, and let's be cycle buddies! I'm thinking AF will be here 5 more days, and then I should O around July 10th. But, then I'll probably spot around the 20th of July and get all sad.

Jesse: What an amazing sounding trip! If you post pics, I wanna see!

phoebekate: Get the pads . . .you'll get your period eventually, even if it won't be 2 years from now!

Selissa: I wish I knew about the spotting. I am growing to hate that word!

Maya: Maybe someday I'll go back and get the music therapist degree . . .I'm almost done with a master's (in teaching, but bilingual/bicultural ed., not music) so I'm tired of school now . . .but someday. Oh, and my instrument is the harp (pedal and folk). I'd be really interested in training to work with the "Chalice of Repose " Project . . .I think it's referred to as "Midwifery for the Dying." Have you heard of this? That would be for a time when my DD was grown, though, as I think it would be too hard logistically with a child.

Hugs to all!

Sounds good to me, Elena. I am expecting to O around July 9th or so. But who knows, right?

I'm getting so jealous hearing about all your degrees. I lasted 2 years in University and just could not make up my mind about what I wanted to be. First it was education then it was law then it was social work... I just said screw this and took a break. I am just going to do what I'm good at and what I don't particularly need schooling for - writing. I love to write.

I just did the evelyn wood version of the thread. Been having massive connection problems and I am so mad at my ISP I could spit.

I'm cd 11, Ho hum. Aggravated about differences in DH and my sex drive. I think someone else mentionned being the same boat, maybe I'll have to bump that not getting enough thread. The worst part is I get so frustrated that I either miss or can't respond when he does want to. I need a chill pill.

Yeah, that's Beruit you're describing. I was never really attached to my college either. I transfered from Scripps College in Claremont on a combined engineering program (I got Bachelor's degrees from both schools!). I never lived on campus, I lived in La Jolla Del Sol campus apartments over south of Nobel between Regents and Lebon.

Uh, we're not really making ourselves into great examples of UCSD grads, are we? Don't even know the name of the college we went to. :

Just a quick check in... I'm 11 dpo (Sunday it'll be 12) and this is almost the longest LP I've ever had since charting... I'm not terribly excited, but I'm not terribly depressed either. I am trying to keep it together and doing a somewhat decent job.

Tomorrow is Pride, so I'll be out and about (and maybe parading!) and not here...

Sending you all blessings and joy!

Thread keeper, signing off!

Okay guys, I've had a great time keeping the thread this week. Thanks for all the 's!! For all you Simpsons fans: The best part was when the two lines showed up!

I'm going to be turning off the ol' PC so I suggest waiting to post updates until the new thread gets posted tomorrow by Jodi. I probably won't be on much tomorrow because we're emptying the house for the new carpet. The PC is going in the garage. We have an ancient laptop but I really don't like the swears that come out of my mouth when I use it so I probably won't be doin' the internet much until I get to work on Monday.

Hopefully I can post a of my own on Monday morning . . . .

Thanks again for all your support guys! I'm taking my poor stomach to bed.

Nighty-night,

Jess

Cd 2

Jess, thanks for taking care of the thread this week, you did a awesome job! Are you feeling better??

Dh and I had a really good talk last night about the ttc woes. He's so great....he's had his swimmers tested, so that is not the problem.
I am going to continue with the healthy advantages that I've been trying to introduce, and keep.
Anyone heard of the fertileheart.com board?? Julia Indichova wrote 'inconceivable', and that's her board. She beleives in holistic healing, alternative preconception stuff, like visualization, etc. I think Kate, you might like to hear her audio?? I am definately thinking of ordering the audio.

Anyone know whether age alone might be keeping me from conceiving?? I have such spot on cycles, great fertility signs, great cm, great timing.......heck, my lifestyle is so darn healthy too!! What gives?? : Whatever it is, I'd sure like to figure it out!!!

Not to have false hope...but what exactly does an evaporation line look like? I am 9dpo and ummm weelll, I've been testing the past couple of days with the internet cheapies. Today I did a candle burning ritual to ask the goddess to help me become pregnant with a healthy baby. And tonight I take a cheapie and instantly saw only one line. I threw it out. Then I fished it out to look at again and can see the slightest pink line. It's light, but visible. Am I going crazy..correction, I am going crazy!! Help!
