week of June 21st! - Page 5

I just know the position cause I had a prenatal a week ago, and my midwife felt the baby's position, and showed me where the parts were. I could feel a hard mass on my right side, the head down right above my pubic hair, and a foot up above my belly button. The baby is still in the same position as then.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have a clue, either....although I could tell for a while now that the baby is head-down, cause I can feel that little round ball there. It is very prominent.

I am having bladder issues. Anyone else? I feel immense pressure on my bladder at all times, and I feel like I have to go about 70% of the time. (Probably because of the aformentioned head.) It is a real PITA, though...I am constantly going to the bathroom, only to get a little trickle. : The baby has also started punhing me in my bladder. I swear I have come within centimeters of peeing in my pants! Is this TMI? Is this normal? I don't remember this starting so early with dd.

I just kind of can tell LOL. Well, when the baby was head down, it was only on one side of my abdomen...one side was much harder than the other. For a few days, I could feel hardness on both sides....like a bum and a head on each side....so I'm guessing transverse, though I didn't have my midwife confirm. But it seems to have moved now. That's funny that one of us was more comfy in transverse....I felt this immense pressure in both pelvic bones when I sat or leaned over....like the head and butt were going to push out through each hip!

Good news!!! Got my pee test results and no more UTI, not even a slight trace!!! Woo-hoo!!! Cranactin ROCKS!!!

I still have to be careful but I feel better knowing I don't have to play around with antibiotics that I might be allergic to or could harm the baby. I feel sooo much better knowing the cause of my problems is gone.

I am skipping the GD test as well. I didn't have it with DD, there is no history of diabetes in my family and I am really low-risk for it, so we aren't worrying about it.

When I had the u/s they said the baby was breech, which I could tell since most of the hardest kicks were down low. Then, I felt her flip and be transverse and felt kicks on the side, and now she is head down I think since I feel stronger kicks up higher. The only way I can tell if by where I feel kicking.

Amy, I am glad everything is better!
