What type of material did you use? I want one so bad and have the instructions downloaded, but I don't know what type of material to use. I'm relactating and my son is very demanding in the evening. He wants to nurse and be close, so I know a sling is what we need. We have a Bjorn, but I don't like it because you can't get a good cuddle with it. KWIM?

i just used a regular cotton. i just wanted to try out making a sling and had some of thsi fabric in my craft 'room', i folded it in half though so it's "double-ply" cuz i wasnt sure how sturdy the fabric was.
i dont know much abt fabrics though, just do a search for fabric and sling and u'll come up with some suggestions
HTH

btw, 's i've been reading about ur relactating journey and i wish u and ur son the best

Looks awesome! I finished one up this week, too, but it took me a lot longer because I first folded my fabric the wrong way! Such a pretty print, too!

They are great aren't they.. I finally made one a few months ago and it goes everywhere with me. DS and I are tagging along with DH on a business trip to Vegas and it has been wonderful for getting around the crowded streets and casinos, and it folds up so small in the diaper bag. I love mine.. I just need to make one big enough for DH now.
