Yep, I'm Christy's sister and we started cd'ing back in August. We're on a cd hiatus right now b/c we have a nasty rash that is only clearing up with sposies. I can't wait to get her back in cloth.

I'd love to have a diaper party! We could probably do something at my house if everyone wanted to. I've got plenty of space.

I say we set a date, Jenn offered to have it at her house. She's in Lawrenceville so somewhat centrally located.

I used to live there, hence the name, LOL. I was in Augusta. There was some cloth action w/ some LLL gals, and my Bradley instructor. She inspired me alot-her beautiful daughter looked soooo sweet in her motherease cover. Elizabeth, I wonder if we ever crossed paths!

We might have crossed paths. I attended le leche meetings at St Mary's usually for about a year and a half or so after my dd was born. She will be 3 on Valentine's day.

I went to one AP meeting but spent the whole time chasing dd who was at that fearless just walking climbing I can do anything stage so I never went back.

Strange tho, I never saw any cloth dipes at the meetings, but now I know I just didn't notice. duh.

The cloth probably wouldn't have sucked me in but soakers would have..and did

okay- hey amanda- of course i know who you are now! cool- i love my students being on lists like these- go attachment parenting! whoo hoo! but no one has anwsered the question- what do you do at a cloth diapering party? i am intrigued by this concept now... pray do tell!

cd party. you just show off your fluff. admire other's fluff. it's a nice way to see and examine other diapers that you don't own. maybe trade something. just hang out with like-minded folk. sounds cool!

I have no clue either. Does everyone bring their dipes? Do we just throw them all on the floor and roll around in the fluff? Is there any food involved? Becuase it can't be a party unless there's food (and chocolate) around.

I'm in the Northlake area of DeKalb, and we do CD, but we're in a boring state of prefolds and pins, lol. I don't think we'd add too much excitement. Maybe I'll go nuts with the new one coming next month.

And Heidi, did you have a Bradley Birth? I'm doing Bradley this time around and really looking forward to it!

Bradley was great-I highly recc although my birth was not a model to follow, LOL. Let's just say that Bradley helped alot for the 30 hours that I did labor naturally...the last six? Well, I am trying to forget it all! I am excited for you! YOU will meet some great gals this way too!
