doll bugy/stroller

DD's doll stroller (the fold up kind that looks liek a realy baby stroller just in miniature) has just about bitten the dust. I was looking at some wicker basket or wooden ones online, but they are way to expensive for me right now. I was thinking that I could buy a basket and dh could make a stand and handle for it- just like the fancy schmantzy ones I saw online. Anyone ever try this, or have any other suggestions?

When my DD's stroller bit the dust, i found an oversized scarf and taught her how to tie it around her and her doll. Instant baby sling!! If DD doesn't grow too much, it should last until she's ten or so LOL! Also, I am not left lugging around a baby stroller, cuz lets face it, I can't scrunch over and push it LOL! (I never did like that stroller)

Hey, the sling idea worked for my now 2 yo, too! And it's perfect for when we are out in public and she finds a little treasure, she has someplace to put it :LOL
