Could you tell me how much a good one costs and where is a good place to get one??

I have one from here: www.snappress.com. I had one from another place that cost a little less, but the snaps kept coming out and I ruined more diapers on account of my snaps. The snaps at this place have little barbs around the edge that grip the fabric so that doesn't happen. Terri at FMBG uses these snaps.
