Wasn't this in Martha Stewart awhile back? I want to make a little something for the girls to show off their matching rodeo diaper covers. Anyone know what I'm talking about??

MS Kids, Summer 2003. They have directions for an apron, pants (I made these), tie, halter top (made this too), baby poncho and halter dress.

If it is the halter top you would like to make, very simple. Fold the bandanna in half on the diagonal. At the neckline, fold the point down 2.5 inches, sew across 1 inch from edge to make a casing. Thread soft rope trim through the casing with a safety pin. Tie around neck, tie corners together at the back. Most bandannas are 22 inches square. This fits about a size 5.

HTH!

there's a free pattern at atyourwhimsy.com for bandanna halters, it's meant for adults but can be done for kids with smaller squares of cloth - VERY easy
