children's sewing toys from old foam pieces

i wanted to share this idea.. i had some old foam pieces from those foam books- the ones with shapes that you press in the pages- those little pieces always got lost... so i made something better from them!

i used a hole puncher to punch holes along the sides of the foam shapes and then put tape on the edges of lengths of yarn to make some sewing toys for my dd. they turned out great!!
