Carl's Sourdough Starter

Thread Starter
I just sent away for this yesterday and I'm so excited. Has anyone tried it? How well did you like it? Do they include a recipe for bread? What other things can you use the starter in? This is so much fun. I'm making a kitchen starter with flour and water and will compare that to Carl's to see which produces the better product. I love baking! I'd love any recipes anyone wants to share.

I just received my Carl's starter last week. I haven't made anything with it. I am a bit nervous actually. I just wanted to let you know it took about 2 months for me to get my starter so be patient. Also, it didn't come with any recipes so thanks for the link - I forgot it had some recipes there.
