I have a cold!

I can't believe it. I have gotten every little cold ds brought home this entire pregnancy. I guess being pregnant through the winter, with a little one who spent a lot of time at playdates, it is to be expected. But we've both been healthy for a few months. Friday night ds was congested. Runny nose yesterday. And now I get a cold. I cannot deal with the thought of going through labor while sick. Let's just hope this baby doesn't come early. My due date is the 12th, so I'm really hoping that I kick this cold soon.

Oh, and I sliced my finger last night, bad. Of course, it was the index finger on my right hand, so it's making everything difficult. Please, can't I get a break just this once?!?!?!

I have a cold too that I picked up from DD. And the hilarious thing is that I am on all these supplements to reduce GBS like C, Echinacea, acidophilus, and garlic. You'd think the cold wouldn't even have a chance! ROFL!

And ouch, sorry about your finger! I hope you heal up soon and get a break, mama!

I am on exactly the same regimen for exactly the same reason. I really thought I would be safe this time!

It's really bad today. Dh took ds, so I'm just laying in bed, telling this baby to settle in and hang tight for a little while longer.

Sending hugs and I hope you feel better! You don't need this right now!

Sorry you're feeling bad, Oceanbaby!! Having a cold while you're pregnant just STINKS. I hate that "I just can't breathe" feeling.

Can I join the pity party? I'm fighting off a postpartum bladder infection. I felt so good the day after Lila was born! Then the next day (and the next and the next) I was achey and feverish. I think it's finally under control, but good grief!!

OH no! Bladder infections are bad enough let alone having to deal with one with an already sore bottom! I am glad you're feeling a bit better.
