Is there something in your life you would like to have happen? How about we start a collective intention here to help us actualize those things. We can all send positive energy to each other, and even keep track of what materializes. I volunteer to do that.

For me, the only thing I wish to focus on right now is finding the right home for us. We've lived in our new area for 5 months now and like it well enough to start the process of buying a home.

But not just any home.

I envision a cozy home w/Spanish style architecture, brick terrace(s), lots of shady trees, great views of the mountains, and tons of character in a secluded spot near a good school for Isabel. And close enough to DH's office so he can continue having lunch with us at home. All for the price we can afford. A pool would be lovely, too. Enough room for a horse. I envision this transition to be a smooth process with no hassles from real estate agents, mortgage people or prospective sellers. I hate hassles.

none of it was down to me as I only just found this thread. But I am only too willing to join in.
I'm moving to England, leaving in 4 weeks with dd. I have a month in which to find a house in the city where I will be studying, a nice house, with some space, and most importantly, something we can afford. Maybe a nice person to share with. Or while we're visualising, we could work directly on the money!!
Our savings are by English standards small, and I am stressed about having to find the place very quickly (leaving dd with my mother in another part of England for maximum freedom of movement!). So, a nice place, fast, is all I ask.

Congrats on the house, you must have some strong energy. I only just found this thread too. Right now DH is up for a promotion at work, and is being scouted by the competition. They want him also, for what amounts to a promotion. So +++ energy that whatever the best deal is for him that he get's it.

Well we are trying to move, and ideally we will find a lot of land not too far from dh's new job and put a modular home on it. Our own home with a bedroom for each of the kids and a schoolroom would be SO nice.

when i said fast, I didn't mean this fast!!!!! I got a phonecall within a matter of hours from a friend of mine in the city we're going to live in, he has a gorgeous house way way out of our price range and he offered it to us for a third of the price!!!!!

For me, as well, a house to call my own. We've rented for 8+ years and are eager to find a place in the next year. We need someone who will give us a mortgage due to imperfect, but not terrible, credit. I desire an old victorian home close to dh's work, with enough room for the 6 of us to spread out, and no more than 1 1/2 baths A large backyard and friendly neighbors are also on the list. A friendly helpful agent. An easy transition from our landlord.

As for us well DH went on a second interview and it went great he is scheduled to meet with the head honcho (flying in from out of town) to discuss money next week. Also he had a meeting with his boss who said he will be deciding about who will the vacant position next week. And said that he thinks hubby would be perfect for it so both opportunities are looking good.
