Hi Mamas! It’s good to hear from everyone. Heather G – I am sorry things are so hard for you now. Many of the problems experienced in the first trimester can creep into the beginning of the second. Let’s hope that they come to an end soon. Always know you can come here to vent!

Tofumama – I know how hard depression can be. I experienced pre- and post-partum depression during my first pregnancy. It may not seem ‘logical’ due to your situation, but it can be caused by all of the new chemicals and hormones in your body right now. As Elisabet said, please do find someone to speak with about the depression. It is nothing to be ashamed of. And if it comes to it, there are some (such as Zoloft) anti-depressants that are approved for use during pregnancy. Of course this is nobody’s first choice, but there is also no reason you shouldn’t enjoy this special time in your life. If you need to chat some more, please feel free to instant message me. I have been there!
Anyway, as for me – I am a little over 14 weeks. I can feel my uterus about an inch under my belly button. It is so exciting – I love lying on my back and feeling it!

I am still pretty tired and have some nausea issues, but other than that, I have been doing well. This pregnancy has been so much nicer than my last!!!
I also took my first pre-natal yoga class yesterday. It wasn’t quite what I expected – no one really talked to each other and the teacher didn’t introduce us (there were only 8 people). During my first pregnancy we would all go around the room and introduce ourselves and talk about the pregnancy – it was a nice way to connect. Anyway, as far as yoga goes, it was a good class. But, as much as I want to like it – I DON’T. Here, I’ll say it – I HATE YOGA.

: How awful is that?
Hope everyone has a good week!
