I got a grand old gift card to Borders for my wedding anniversary and I am trying to decide how to use it. There are more than enough books that I want to buy, but I also wanted to get at least one CD since it has been so long since I treated myself to music. I have strong alternative rock roots, but lately it seems like female singers are my faves: India Arie- however ya spell her name, Macy Gray, Alannis Morisette, Enya, No Doubt (it's a LAW u have to be a fan if you grew up in Orange County), etc. I don't have any albums by any of these guys- like I said it's been YEARS since I bought any music for myself, and I am wondering if anyone knows of maybe a good compilation album?

I don't know of any good compilation cds....but I do have a copy of the Macy Gray CD (the first one) that I would be happy to give to you if you want it. I listened to it for awhile and really liked it, but I guess it's just not really my "style." I haven't listened to it in months.
