feeling the bug

I know I still have like 5 weeks left but I am really starting to feel ready to get the show on the road. (not that I want a pre-term baby just want the time to get here!) I packed a little bag for him lastnight with lots of tiny little diapers and covers and a couple of outfits and my post partum pads and such. I never did that with my other 2. I just packed when it was time to go...(over due inductions).... hummm maybe this time I will actually get to go on my own? how nice that would be!

I know exactly how you are feeling!! I am due 1 month from today and I am sick of being pregnant!!! I just want him to get here so we can move on to different things. Hang in there though, we are getting close!!!

Me too...waiting, waiting,waiting. I have been off of work due to high blood pressure for about 2 and half months now and my baby is due in 5 weeks. I have too much time on my hands and little energy. I just want baby to arrive...but not preterm! I just hope the time magically passess quickly.

I want to stay pg for a while yet! I have to make a trip to South Carolina next week for a week and I am scared to death that I will deliver away from home by myself. Besides that I just got back from New York this weekend and I have almost nothing ready for the baby. We are possibly moving when I get back from South Carolina so what is the point of dragging everything out if it is going to be packed up again? I'm achey, whiney and getting close to being tired of being pg but I wish I could just stay pg until September!

Is anyone going to try natural means of getting labor started? I've heard that sex is one way to help jump start contractions as well as exercise. Anyone know of others?

Oh my goodness I tried EVERY EVERY EVERY trick in the book with my last child. I tried acupuncture starting at 39 weeks and had 6 treatments (50 bucks a time, OUCH! big waste), ate TONS of fresh pineapple, ate Mexican food, ate Chinese food, had sex, had a cocktail, walked a million miles around the mall (almost all day on my due date lol) even lowered myself to trying caster oil, huge mistake.... put me into labor (day after due date) but stalled out 3 hours in and was sent home. Nothing worked. I ended up being induced 8 days after my due date. And those 3 weeks of trying everything were so so depressing... I would never put myself through all that emotionally again. I remember saying to my husband in tears one night "If we ever have another baby DO NOT TELL ME MY DUE DATE!" It easily became a hysterical obsession trying to get labor started. Kind of a nightmare.
