question for nursing moms TTC

I hope I'm in the right place (proper sub-forum, I mean!). I have a 13 month old who I am still nursing - 3-5 times during the day and then, anywhere from every hour ( to every 3 or 4 hours during the night. I still haven't had my first AF. I've been having menstrual-like cramps for about 4 days now plus nausea. No blood though. I'm just wondering - could this be a ghost period (a sign that AF is on it's way)? Or, could it be I'm pregnant? We're not really TTC yet so I'm just really curious.

Is it too early to test? Since I have no AF and I'm not charting, I don't really know what to do (besides, wait, of course!!! ). Any thoughts?

When my af came back the first time, I had cramping, nausea, and *SORE* nipples for a few days beforehand. I thought I was pregnant, but was disappointed when the bleeding started.

If I were you, I'd wait a couple more days and just see what happens.

Personally I had cramps and some weird hormonal things for a few months before AF returned, I even took pregnancy tests. But it was all just the hormones of my body trying to return to "normal". I've noticed that if dd nurses a lot more or less than usual for a week, it throws off my hormones too. So I too would give it some more time, but take a home test if its going to make you nuts. I have taken a lot of negative tests since dd was born, just to be sure.
