(I just thanked him for what he's done, told him about Oprah's face cream, & invited him 'round. oh, & told him Dr Fleiss would be a great guest <g>)

I didn't realize that! We can't listen to him here, so my only access is his reruns on E!.

I knew I liked him for some reason. Years ago I could see a really good person in him. Now he's campaigning against Bush AND circumcision....wow! What a guy!

Minor correction.

He is *not* Jewish. His father was Jewish. And 'half-Jewish' jokes are part of his shtick.

As a matter of fact, I saw him last Yom Kippur. My kids & I walked over a mile down West End Avenue directly behind or in front of him ... and his girlfriend. Leap-frogged each other the whole time. Didn't look at all like being Jewish was on his mind, either ... :LOL

Howard Stern also makes jokes about being half black, half Italian, and half cherokee. In his unauthorised biography by Matthew Hoffman it says that his parents are Jews of Austro-Hungarian decent.

Not sure about his unauthorized bio, but I read an article that said that his dad is Jewish, mom Italian Catholic.
