I had a GREAT nursing-in-public experience at Baby Depot today!

We went to baby depot today, and this is strange because baby depot is not my favorite store because they have a sucky return policy (they won't give money back, only store credit which I hate) but anyway, I love them now!!!!
I asked a clerk where I could sit down with my son. she asked me (kindly) what do you mean? I said, I wanted to sit down and nurse and wanted to know if there was a bench around here somewhere.
she offered me to sit right in the MIDDLE OF THE STORE in their glider-recliner seats! (the ones NO ONE is supposed to sit on??)

So there I was.. sitting on a VERY comfortable chair (I also noticed how crappy my own chair is and demanded dh buy me a new one.. but that's a whole other thread, lol) in the middle of the store. I felt like a breastfeeding poster woman! :LOL

Tons of people walked by me, as I showed the world how wonderful nursing is.. and I didn't even get ONE bad look! can you believe it???

But why do you think that no one is supposed to sit in those chairs? Seems like they'd sell a lot more of them if people tried them out and found out how comfy they are...

I saw a woman nip at Target in one of their glider rockers on display the other day. I tried to catch her eye to smile at her, but she was avoiding making eye contact with anyone. I think she was afraid people might glare So I just said loudy to my sil as we walked by how great it was to see a mom nursing. I hope the Mom heard me.
