Anyone have any ideas for celabrating World Breastfeeding Week this year?
I'm going to call or go down to my library and ask them to put up a breastfeeding book display for the month of August.
But I'd like to do something more, be more involved. Anyone know about events happening in my area? I live in Houston Texas. And I don't mind driving a bit if someone knows of an event in Dallas or Austin or someplace.
Thanks.

Definitely check out the NNO site... and LLL too!

I'm trying to organize a local NNO in my small town... we'll see how it goes as we don't even have a LLL!

I'm on schedule for a Nurse Out on Friday the 6th. I was interviewed by the local newspaper and went in for a photo and the article will be in Tuesday's newspaper. I hope it's a noticeable article and not just a tiny blurb somewhere.

Thanks for bumping

Oh, for all of you out there in my area... I finally found something! I went to the nurse in at the galleria and I guess they are kissing up to the bf community because they are hosting a wbw celebration on August 7th.
I guess they want to get some good press now instead of the bad press they got at the nurse in. And of couse they are wanting to make a profit by getting lots of people to come and shop. It's a tax free shopping day so I'm sure they will get plenty of shoppers and sell a lot of merchindise.
