My DD is 5 months and has shown a strong preference for my right breast since day one. I use to be able to "trick" her into taking the left one by leaning over her while nursing in the side-lying position or by starting her on the right and sliding her over from right to left while keeping her on the same side, KWIM? Anyway- for the last week, she simply won't nurse on the left at all. I pump once a day or so, but my supply on the left is almost non-existent. My midwife and DD's pedi said that it's not a problem and I am not worried about it anymore. But it does make me pretty lopsided! Anyone else out there in a similar position? Any reasons discovered for DD/DS preference? Did it continue with other children?

A lady in my LLL meetings has the same problem. Her dd refuses to nurse on the other side. She hasn't had any problems with feeding off one side only (she complains about the lopsided thing too).
