It's not my type of mag but since I have a subscription as a gift I read it, and I am pleased to tell you that breastfeeding is mentioned 3 times in the August issue!!! Two are funny stories by regular moms in an article about the gross things that happen with kids (a bf poopy disaster and a during sex leak) not real advocacy stuff but in the sense that it puts bf out there as just a normal part of life, I was still pleased.
The third is an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, I had no idea she bf and homeschools her kids... Things like this where bf is just casually mentioned, even when it's not the focus of the article, make me feel like maybe we are getting through to moms and maybe bf is being seen as more the norm... Of course I still think there's a long way to go but it was sure nice to see it.
