Hi there! Not quite the season for it, but have you seen "The Snowman" (based on the book by R. Briggs) No words, just music and animation. It's SOOO lovely and peaceful! I also give a hurrah to "My Neighbor Totorro". Of course, these are ones I love, ds being pre-video age still. (I worked in a video store during the summers while getting my MEd)!!!

Someone asked a similar question on the parenting issues board and I just got done typing in a bunch of stuff on GREAT kid cds/cassettes and books also so look there if you are interested.
Videos that I highly recommend are the Kids for Character and Choices Count videos. We also like the Dora the Explorer series. And Disney's Mulan!

We LOVE Raffi!

He has some really awesome live concerts on VHS, we take them out of the library so much, I recently bought one on half.com

This is all dd watches on tv.
