Am I crazy

Would you pay $54 for 48 stockmar crayons(24 block and 24 stick)? Is it worth it or should I just buy a smaller set? I have a 4yo loves to color and
2 yo loves to color but also breaks them ... We are hoping for more and are hoping to homeschool. So is it worth it? Any suggestions would be appreciated... :

I wouldn't!

I looked for and bought a small set of Stockmar crayons (the block ones, set of 8). DD1 used them a bit, but didn't like them that much and they cost $10. So...I stock up on Crayola when they're on sale for back to school. You can get the 24 crayon box for about .25 at Target, etc.

I do NOT buy crayons or chalk made in China. There have been too many recalls because of lead contamination. Crayola are made in the U.S. and are fine.

The block crayons might be easier to use for small kids, 2 or so, but Crayola also makes thick crayons.

Works for us.
