The contour diapers are made to snap-in the wool in one fuzbomb. The cover in this auction is a fuz easy cover. It's doesn't have snaps for the diapers to snap in. At least I can't see the snaps in the photo.
Its very deceptive I think. She calls them diapers but they are contours. The "set" will techinically work (I have put trifolded prefolds into a fuzeasy before and it works pretty well) but not like she is advertising it. She just fails to mention that she isn't actually selling a WIO, but rather a Fuzeasy cover and 2 contours.
Oh its definately an Easy and the contours definately don't snap into it. Its something I would have noticed before bidding and something I might have bid on anyway, but she is, or so it seems, purposely deceptive.
I called Lori. She was not aware of the auction, but is now. She said that if the cover is side snapping, it is definately an Easy cover. She said that contours cannot snap into an Easy cover because the wool is too thin for snaps. She said it is not a set.
I wonder what the deal is... do you really think she is trying to be deceptive? Or maybe she just doesn't know? She doesn't say anything about them snapping together (though the pic shows a contour sticking out the top of the cover which seems weird). Maybe she got them for hyena-ness and never got around to using them?
You would have to know that they don't go together. You've got the contours with snaps and the cover with no place to snap the snaps. There's no way they can fit together. And then she has the WIO washing instructions so I don't know where she got that, but by including a picture of that she is claiming that it is a WIO, which it isn't. Point is, if she has those items in her hands and knows anything at all about diapers she knows she doesn't have a set. I might believe she doesn't know if she doesn't use cloth diapers and hasn't looked them over at all.
About $100 from the maker for a real wio, but it would auction for over a hundred. What she actually has there is worth about $70. I'm not saying this isn't worth what is being bid on it, but it isn't worth the bin price.
Actually its worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I just have issue with the fact that she is deceptive about what it is. It is not a WIO and she says that it is. Plus she says it is from the Retro garden...not true. The fuzeasys were new. The contours are retro but not the easy.
