rededication: ? for Pagans

Darn, I have been away from this place so long it took me forever to figure out how to start a new thread lol.

Anyway.
I am feeling the need to redidcate myself to my Goddess and recommit to following my path.
I could use help designing the ritual.
If you feel comfortable posting any ideas here.. great, if not, please pm me.

I am thinking of:
Asking ds to take ds out for a couple of hours.
Totally cleaning and smudging the house.
Taking an herbal/essential oil bath.. probably a "white" bath, for those who know what that is..
Putting on a new garment..

In circle, having a new Goddess symbol to concecrate and put next to my old one to symbolize renewing a path..
Speaking my words of rededication..

treating MYSELF to cakes and ale..

Welcoming my family home.

Any other ideas would be very much appreciated.

Welcome back!!!!

For me (YMMV) making an offering or sacrifice of some sort would be important

Yes. That would be important, thanks.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I've felt really disconnected. I want to include DD in my rededication, though, because I haven't done any kind of naming ceremony for her or anything. DH will go along, but I'm wondering about whether to invite/include the other members of our household (BIL and his gf). Even if they don't really care one way or the other I think it would help me stop feeling so disconnected and wierd about sharing living space w/ them. Hmmm... maybe I'll do two rituals, one for the apt/household and one for DD and I.
