I'm cleaning out my stash of knitting yarn and spinning fibers. I'd like to offer them here before resorting to eBay.... should I just post them to the regular Trading Post, or is there a better place for specifically craft related items?

Thanks!

I don't really have any wool yarn to clear out, but TONS of wool spinning fiber, if you're into that! I'm in the process of sorting everything out and taking pictures now, so I can post a list with photos over the weekend.

LOL..I think if I get one more hobby/craft, dh will leave me, so I don't think I'll take the wool spinning fibers...maybe later on....lol...esp since I've just started dying my yarn...what a BLAST!!!!!

Hugs!

Thanks LaLa! Can I reply to this post with a link to my post on the TP to let people know it's there?

Neveryoumindthere, wool fiber can be used to spin yarn using a spinning wheel or drop spindle, or it can be felted using a variety of methods.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, ladies! I'll get the post up in the TP this weekend.

actually, I believe it is against s&c forum and board rules to 'spam' your sales/trades unless you have a signature package. Lala? Is that the case?

No problem! I was just wondering. Thanks!

yes that is the case if you are a business (which I didn't realize that was what you were talking about...)

it's okay to use the TP to sell or trade personal items but not items that are business related.

thanks pam

Oh, no, these are personal items, not a business. If I could somehow make a business out of all the craft-related materials I have around the house, I'd be set! :LOL

Thanks, LaLa.

Oh, I figured they were personal and not business Am I confusing you all!

I just thougth that pointing to your tp sales from other parts of the board was disallowed.
