He used to refuse to use cloth. I mean - outright REFUSE.
Now he does use cloth, and occasionally a sposie. But he knows that this is a no-no. He tells me dd is in a sposie in a guilty kind of tone. I have caught him telling people how much cheaper CDs are (woohoo on that one!)

He doesnt change any. Instead he does the dishes, we swapped 2 things we both hate, well he wouldnt swap putting laundry away.

We both feel strongly about using cds. At first, we were in it to spare the landfills; but now, we're both grossed out by sposie chemicals too. The other day, ds had to wear a pamper (small stash, poorly planned laundry day), and dh kept thinking our little guy was dirty when it was just the nasty sposie smell that was overpowering our noses.

Anyway, he likes prefolds and Bummis the best.

My dh's illness leaves him too uncoordinated to change a diaper, especially a running away toddler. So, I do all the changing but there is only cloth in the house, so anyone who might be helping out has no choice

DH uses cloth, unenthusiastically though. We only use quick-dry AIO's and he gets a little confused about which inserts go with which shell. He's hopeless with snaps. He leaves the poopies for me unless they're easily dumped into the toilet.

I enjoy doing the diapering, He would use a PF if I let him near the diapers, but that would mean he'd see the collection.

DH CD's very well when he actually changes a diaper. I change them 99% of the time but DH loves the fact that we use cloth and does great at everything but prefolds.

He uses cloth. He can even snappi a prefold! And he's a germ-o-phobe! Amazing!

And last week at a friend's wedding, we befriended a pregnant couple and he was trying to convert the dad to cloth: "I just don't get how people can use disposable diapers. It's expensive!"

DH changes most of the diapers when he's home, and of course he uses cloth! : We don't even keep 'sposies around so it's not even an option. He even uses a Snappi sometimes! He love to coordinate Isabella's diapers to what she is wearing. He also happily does diaper laundry, and even knows the names of most of my stash! The only thing he doesn't do is wash the wool - I don't quite trust him with that chore!

My SO is a SAHD and has no other option. There are no sposies in our house, nor would I be ok with. He loved the dipes, but I do the laundry. Not that I would trust him anyway. That said he used to ONLY use FB, but now he uses side snapping fitteds coverless or w/fleece covers. I do come home to some very interesting diapering combos. But that is what makes it fun. Months of practices makes papa a very good CDer. He even defends our choice to people who question us. AND he constantly checks out other diapers and will notice say a Bumkins bib and wonder if they CD. I my SO, lol

My DH will use Sposies if they're in the house, but I haven't brought them for ages, so all cloth now. I do manage to keep them stuffed for him, it's makes it easier on him, I'm sure.

When we're running low or it's wash day he'll grab a fitted instead of our normal AIOs and use it with out a cover. He never was good at telling the different. Even though my 6-yo knows which needs covers, and which don't LOL!

well, first off, i wouldn't stand for dh refusing to do diapers. hell, i have to do *all* of the breastfeeding, he can change a measly diaper, cloth or sposie. if my dh ever refused, i'd hand him the poopy baby, a new diaper, and walk out of the house until he figured it out. can you tell than men who think they are above dirty diapers are a pet peeve of mine?

that said, we don't have sposies in the house, except pullups for ds to go to bed in. so he has to use cloth. he's also pretty good at it, although sometimes dd ends up with a cover on an AIO or something. my dh actually will even wash diapers - not that its a lot of work, but i generally don't have to twist any arms to get him to help with that.

He doesn't have a choice..........there's no disposables in the house EVER.

Well, he uses mostly sposies now. but in his defense:
ds is at a stage where he screams, kicks and rolls away when you try and change him AND dh has Multiple Sclerosis and sometimes his small motor functions are not so good - then he has a hard time with pins, snaps - everything. Mostly then he just leaves ds naked and is really good at cleaning up after him
When I was pregnant dh couldn't stand the thought of cloth diapers, but once I started showing him all the web sites he became more of an addict than me! He can run circles around me with his cloth diaper knowledge and tries hard to educate his friends who thinks he's nuts.
He changed ds's very first very messy diaper like an old pro

My DH uses cloth. He would have a heart attack if he saw sposies in the house! It isn't because he likes/dislikes sposies though. It is because he knows that our stash cost $$ and why waist extra on sposies? :LOL He changes, dunks (I don't know why since we have the minishower) and sprays dipes. But all of his diapers are so gappy at the legs it drives me I would never ever say it though, because then he might not change dipes

My husband knows I would be fuming mad if he put a sposie on either kid, good thing we NEVER ever have them around. I have not purchased sposies since my son was 4.5 mos old and now he is 28 months, and now I have another baby too.
When he is actually home (Navy, grr) he changes them, bathes them, whatever they need. He knows snappis and prefolds, but likes AIOs much more.

AMEN!!! I totally agree. I absolutely do not tolerate that either. I did all the feeding and all the nights and much more, so I agree he can change a diaper. Good thing my SO never has refused to change a diaper (in fact he is quite into it now).

Since he is a SAHD and there are absolutely no disposables in our house, he really has no choice :LOL
