Congratulations! Babies and pregnancy always make me want to knit--not even necessarily my own pregnancy, anyone's pregnancy will do!

I knit a cute little all in one from Debbie Bliss's book. she has cow, rooster, bear, and maybe even others. I've posted the bear pictures before, but here it is again anyway:

Again, congrats! I wish I was knitting for a newborn, but I need to convince DH we should have another one first!

I think this top pattern McCalls , view B would look great with knit longies for an infant. I am planning to make a few tops for my baby myself. The sleeves are raglan style, super easy to sew. I think I would bind the edge with FOE instead of using a facing as suggested, for a cleaner more RTW look.

Oiy, now I just need the time...

Karen, who sews but does not knit.

I spent a lot of time sewing bumper pads, crib sheets, dust ruffle and curtains for DD's room when I was pg. And, of course, she doesn't sleep in there! But it looks nice! :LOL
