Potty seat reviews?

Ds informed me yesterday that he's too big for his Baby Bjorn potty chair.

So, I need to get him a seat that goes on top of the regular commode seat. I'd love to hear about the seats you all have experience with - any positives or negatives. Or does it not really matter?

We had a Graco potty that had a seat that could be placed on the regular toilet when the child wanted to use it that way. It was cushioned and had handles, and had non-slip pads on the back. It worked fine.

The only thing was having to stick it on the floor when not in use - it just seemed icky to me...so in our downstairs bathroom, the one used by guests, we got one of those seats that you attach to your toilet that can be flipped up for big people and flipped down by the potty-learner. It was great and we just cleaned it along with the toilet. Here's one:

you might do a search on Ebay for potty training. They have the flip n flush lunamom mentioned, and alot more. At work we have a really great potty seat. It has an attached step stool and handles to help the child get up to the potty. Our toddlers love it and it fold up and leans against the wall when not in use. They have these on ebay as well, but I can't remember what they are called, Primo freedom trainer, or something like that. Also Baby Bjorn makes a potty seat that has a handle in back for hanging on a hook when not in use. It is really sturdy and even has a bit of a lip in front to help keep splashing to a minimum with boys. Hope this helps.

edited to add: I am getting Ds one of the clear plastic ones that is filled with blue water and has little duckies floating around in it. He really thinks that is cool and I am hoping it will encourage his training.

Another vote for the Baby Bjorn seat that sits on the regular toilet. I used that with the Baby Bjorn step stool. Worked great, adjusts for different toilet sizes, no leaks, easy clean up, and it's held up really well.

MIL bought a different brand for her house and the ones that don't adjust for different toilet sizes are a big PIA.

We loved the flip and flush, plus since it only cost like $6 we could get several.
