mama pad help!

Thread Starter
I suck at making mama pads! I am pretty good at making the inserts, or just liners, or whatever, but trying to make the holders/things with wings is killing me. I have ruined soo much fabric trying to get this to work. I am sucking at serging the inside corners, and adding pul is not helping either. I made one by turning and topstitching, but it looks all funky too!

Any advice? I'm close to giving up!

no adcice but I feel you pain lol lol all mine are UGLY!! yes in capitals lol lol
but heck they are ugly after use anyways lol
What i dedided to do was to not round out the wings. I cut 2 seperate pcs. and serge then to the pad (which is just a oval) they kinda look like hb tabs kwim but when the pads are not in use the wings lay flat to the liner
clear as mudd?

Use a washable glue stick to stick the PUL to the fabric

Or you could make the holder without the inside corners--do one that looks like a diamond but with rounded corners (does that make sense?).
