Dharma is the best place to get Procion dyes. If you want to find some locally, Joanne's or Michael's usually have Rainbow Rock tye dye kits that contain the same dye. I know Rit is making tye dye kit now, but don't use that one. UBCPF's dye really well and it's pretty easy. Do a search in sewing and crafts forum and you'll find lot's of instructions.

I just got a tie dye kit from walmart, it is by rainbow rocks, and they turned out great!!

I have gotten rainbow rock at walmart and at Hancocks (or Michaels, I get them confused). But you should be able to call local craft stores and ask if they have Rainbow Rock procion dyes.

I've had great success with them. I'm not a professional, so I can't magically make things look professional-- but I have fun and my kids have made their own shirts while I'm also dying the diapers.

And yes, ubcpfs dye very well.

Where in Wal-Mart is the Rainbow Rock? I looked last night but couldn't find it anywhere.
