Three year old logic :)

Me: "Eli, why are you licking the cover of that book?"
Eli: "Because only Pooh's face is showing!"

Me: "Eli why did you dump all that water on the floor(he was in the bath I was in the very next room, I could see him, but had turned my back for a moment. I heard SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH. I thought, wait a minute, that is not hte sound of water hitting water, that is water hitting floor! There was already 1/4 inch of water all over the bathroom floor in tose 30 seconds it took me to process and get to him. As I am asking him, he continues to do it, even through my screams, of "NO" until I wrenched the cup out of his hand!)

Eli: "Because this is a cup!!!" :

4 yo logic:

"Mommy, what's a termite?"

"A bug that eats wood."

"Mommy, what's a bug that eats wood called?"

"A termite. Does this seem like a circular conversation to you, hon?"

"Why can't it just eat fruit?"

"Because it likes wood."

"Why? Fruit is better."

"I don't know."

"Lets just try and feed them fruit, okay?"

"Uhhhh....well......"

oh gosh, my 5 and 7 yo LOVE to do those circular questions. It's one of my hot button issues I'm afraid.

This isn't 3 yo but 7 yo logic..."Alex why is my pepperjack cheese in the garbage?"
