Can you Kool Aid dye ubcpf?

OK, so I know you can use Kool Aid to dye wool soakers & I have the directions. Can I use the same technique to dye some of my ubcpf too? They're all natural fibers, so no poly issues or anything like that. I'm not concerned if they fade over time either. As long as they don't run & ruin everything else in the wash.

I've pretty much tapped the cd budget for awhile & need a fluff pick-me-up. Some pretty colored pf should do it, don't yah think?

No -- kool aid will really only dye wool. You need a fiber reactive dye or something similar to dye cotton or hemp. You can get some kinds at wal-mart. I use Dharma dyes and they are not too tough to use. But there are other chemicals involved so you have to be sure to read the instructions on the site so you order all the things you need.

Good luck!

Nope, Koolaide will not work.
Procion dyes are the only thing I would say use.

Yeah, what they said!

kool-aid only "sticks" to animal fibers...not plant fibers (cotton, hemp.etc.) or human made fibers (synthetics)....so as all of the above said - no.
