Well, since this is a how-to question and I'm intending to put SNS and KNS pics up, I hope this is the right forum! 
I just got a digital camera, and it's has so many features, I'm totally overwhelmed. All I can figure out is how to take a picture and get it on to my computer. I'm really hoping that someone here can give me a few pointers on how to work this thing. Some specific questions...
The file sizes are HUGE. How do I make the file size or picture smaller? The software that came with the camera is useless.
Which *free* online photo storage places are good? I mean, I'm hoping to add captions and stuff like that.
Um... how do you get them on to the website?

Apparently, the reason why I was having such difficulty is that Yahoo Photos does not support us lowly Mac users. 
Sooo... now I'm buying PhotoShop LE, and I signed up for Snapfish (which is quite nice to Mac people btw). We'll see if I can get everything up and going, but I'm not feeling quite so techno-dumb anymore.
