Anyone know how to get ball point pen out of a bedspread?

It's a soft, woven cotton. White with sage green designs. It's my MIL's and DP wasn't looking while dd was drawing on his hand and she made big "I's," three to be exact, on top of the bedspread. It has to come out ASAP. Otherwise My life might be made a living hell.
