OK, cloth diapering mamas, We do so love cloth for our babies most tender places, but what about our own?

Cloth pads?

Cloth wipes instead of toilet paper?

I just got my PP AF and tried my new mooncup and LOVE it....and I use a shower sprayer/bidet dealy on myself that is hooked up to our bathroom sink and within arms reach (so I can choose temp---EVERY toilet in Finland has one of these suckers!), and dry off with flannel wipes.

I have cloth pads, but haven't had AF since before I was pregnant... LOL!

I can't convince dh to use cloth tp though...

We don't buy disposable paper anything

I hear alot of people say their hub wouldn't "let" them use cloth "tp", I don't recall asking mine lol (it's my arse). I was getting dreadfully tired of using what felt like linty newspaper in comparison to the sherpa, velour and flannels I was handling while diapering baby, and sewed up some simple flannel squares. I set them in the bathroom for my use without saying a word to hub about it. One at a time both big kids asked about them, when I explained what they were for I very quickly had to make more because they both decided they liked moms better than the paper (smart kids!). I left 6 rolls of paper on the shelf for hub, it's taken one man *months* to get through 3 rolls, and he's admitted to using "my" cloth wipes occasionally, "they were ok." :LOL

We use cloth for everything except TP. DH - I don't know I don't think he would go for it. Used old flannel sheets to make kitchen towels and tissues for the bathroom.

I haven't had a cycle in over 2 years but I do use a keeper and cloth when the time comes.

We use cloth everything too. We do keep toilet paper around for guests, and I think DH uses it sometimes, but it takes us forever to go through a roll!
I like cloth SOOO much better - I can't imagine going back to icky scratchy disposable pads/tampons.

Cloth diapers, and toilet paper! If i had a temp adjustable mini-shower option (sink & shower not close enough to toilet) I'd consider the cloth tp!

Where do you store your dirty cloth wipes? I have no where to store the dirty ones. Our bathroom is so narrow that I frequently hit my leg on the tp roll when I stand up. How about one of those hanging wet bags, would that work?

I use cloth pads, have for about 18 mos now, when I have af that is. I won't go back to paper. I have storage problems for those too

Cloth toilet paper recommendations, anyone? Thanks!

I bought a little rubbermaid "can" with a lid for the dirty ones, a couple drops of TTO in there occasionally and I've never had a smell problem.

I know there is a WAHM that makes FBW (family bathroom wipes) in a shell shape, but I can't recall the name. I've seen her advertisement banner here on mdc before. You could use the bigger baby wipes easily enough, seems most wahms that make dipes make those, I'd just go for the colored ones rather than white/natural.

nak...I use cloth pads when menstrating and paper TP but I'm phasing the cloth TP back in after taking a break for a while (I voted other, btw). I throw them in the dirty bag with the dipes but I rinse pads off first. I made my own cloth TP with diaper flannel and just zigzaged around the edges. I made my own pads too

We use regular tp and I use the diva cup or the keeper for af. Although it seems like FOREVER since I've had af!

I voted "other"...

I would like to do both, but:

1. No AF yet...
2. No mini-shower yet. As soon as I get a mini-shower, I will probably use cloth wipes...

So funny, bc just one month ago, I thought I would NEVER do either one of these! :LOL

I bought a bunch of cloth pads before my dd was born, and used them post partum. Haven't needed to use them since then, though

I want to switch to cloth wipes for myself. I plan on trying to make some out of old flannel or something, and will leave paper in there for dh and guests

I just do not like pads of any kind, so at this point I'm still using tampons. Someone recently told me that sea sponges can be used in such a way -- does anyone know of a wahm who sells them? I would love to try them.

I use cloth pads and sea pearls, and bought a diva cup but haven't tried it yet. Considering the move to cloth wipes.

I got my sea pearls here: http://www.sunshinebabyshop.com Here's the link to the manufacturer's site: http://www.jadeandpearl.com/sea_pearls.shtml
