I have two boxes of maternity clothes packed away in my bay window, and every day I look longingly at them (comfort wise) but I can't bring myself to break them out. Who here is showing enough to need them yet? i'm not yet, but my pants' waistbands are getting tight.

I moved into my maternity clothes last week. I don't need the shirts, but the shorts were a must. While my jeans and shorts all fit my waist, they are WAY too tight across my belly.
Sigh... was hoping to put this off a bit longer. I am 11w 1d.

The pants I bought this summer were from a company that doesn't fit me right, they are normally WAY too big in the waist, so I had been wearing a belt with them, well every few days that belt is just a little looser and looser and just last week I stopped wearing it. I am still hoping to make it to September so I can wear the fall/winter maternity clothes I have from when I was pregnant with dd AND the couple of new things I bought. I might just invest in a couple of pairs of stretch waist knit capris if my pants and belly don't cooperate with each other in the next 6 weeks or so.

All of my work pants come up over my waist and I have to leave them unbuttoned and unzipped. Since all of my old work shirts are very stylish, tight, and not-so-flattering-or-concealing I've gone out and gotten a couple of work style maternity shirts. They tie in the back so I can make the tighter and you really can't tell. They just hang over my undone pants and disguise my growing butt
.
I can still wear most of my jeans...as long as they don't go over my waist. Since I've recently taken to wearing those low-rise hip huggers they're perfect and I can wear most of my regular clothes...with a little pooch of course.

Last night my husband curled up to me, put his hand on my belly, and GAPSED! He had no idea I had begun to show. Most of my pants still fit, but a few pairs that were marginal before the pregnancy are down right painful now. So, to the bottom of the dresser they go.

My clothes all still fit for the most part. I had just done a 4 month stint of the south beach diet and lost almost 40lbs... so did the buy a new pair of jeans every 2 weeks thing. The gist of it is, I have jeans in waist sizes 32, 33, 34, 36, and 38. (i only wear men's jeans. more comfy). Anyway, the 32's are pretty snug now, but the 33's are perfectly comfortable
I'm kind of hoping to not need maternity clothes for a few more months. but we'll see.
I am starting to get poochy, but i think its from the fundus pushing out all the chubb.

My jeans/capris/shorts that used to fit perfectly are now too snug, so I'm getting a lot of wear from the 1 pair of capris, 1 pair of shorts, and two pairs of jeans that had been too baggy up until last week. I'm also wearing my stretchy work-out shorts and yoga pants around the house. I have a little bit of below-belly-button pooch going on; it just looks like I haven't been working out, which I haven't....
I'm thinking about just buying a couple of pairs of shorts and capris in the next size up to get me through the end of the summer. I don't think I'll need maternity clothes for a while though.

My regular shorts are getting the rubber band thru the beltloop treatment if they get worn. I bought 2 pairs of mat. shorts, but they are still kinda big. My regular stuff is about too tight, now. I am planning to just keeping it to the 2 pr. of shorts I just bought, and borrowing some capris from a friend DISept. (she's about to outgrow her small mat. stuff :LOL )

I can only fit into my "fat jeans" now and I only have a couple pairs of those so they are getting a work out. I have been getting the most miledge out of some pairs of shorts and pants I have that are tie waist. I also have some 3/4 length pajama pants that can pass as summer khakis so I've worn those a bit too. My maternity stuff it still big on me, I tried wearing a pair of the pants the other day and they kept falling down so it wasn't worth the hassle.
I am definetly starting to show though - my father in law even patted my tummy the other day and commented "Uh oh - it's all starting now!" I don't usually mind people touching my pregnant belly but it seems too soon for that and I was actually pretty irked.

I'm just starting to show now and when my mom did my measurements for the maternity pants she is making me she commented that I'm quite square
: which is something since she just made what I wore to the wedding so it shows how quick things grow.
For shorts I'm lucky, my grandmother passed away a little over a year ago and she had a big belly but skinny legs, basically, she looked pregnant, so my mom took a bunch of just simple shorts from her stuff for me.
Right now my mom is making me 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts--one is really cool, I can't wait but the only thing I need right now is the pants as I can only wear sweats now--basically I'm in trouble if I need to go to a business meeting!!

I've been getting by wearing a pair of jeans I own from before I lost weight. I have one pair of shorts. I have one pair of maternity pants from Gareth for fall/winter. Since he was a summer baby I don't have much in terms of cold weather stuff. My best friend had her fourth baby three weeks ago and she will let me wear her things but we are built a little differently. So I'll just have to wait and see.
With DH being unemployed we don't have any cash to buy any new clothes. I'm already sick of the few things I am wearing now. My shirts are all ok it is just the pants.

Meeeeeeee!!!
I have a very hard little potbelly below my navel.
My pants are getting tighter to button (and uncomfortable in general) and I guarantee I'll be full fledged in maternity clothes within a month. I've only gained 1 lb so far, but it feels like 10.You want to hear something cute (and freaky)... we have absolutely not said word one to dd and ds that we're expecting. Kind of wanted to give it a little time just to make sure all looked good, etc. Thinking of telling them around the time I REALLY start showing (ya know, next week LOL). Anyway, they must have some sort of sixth sense or just be picking up on my body language, but when I lie on the floor with them roughhousing or playing, they always say "Be careful of mama's belly" to each other to keep the other one from pouncing too hard on my belly.
So maybe I'm showing more than I think I am!!
