Washing the Dog

My dog hates water, so it was always a pain giving her a bath as a result, she didn't get one but maybe 1-2 a year. Today I soaked her down and then poured baking soda water on her and rinsed her off, poured some vinegar water, rinsed again and her coat is so shiny. It was so much easier than taking the time to scrub her down, and so much less traumatic for her. Another No Poo triumph!

My grandfather, a retired veterinarian, also recommended frequently rubbing the doggies down with a clean bath towel any time you think of it instead of actually "bathing."

Go No Poo!!!

We have two dogs, one hates water. We make a point of taking her for a walk on a rainy day until she's soaked and then rub her clean with a wet towel and then rub her dry with a warm one. This is the only 'bath' she's had for about three years now and it's worked well. Rainwater is a nice softener. But she tries to turn back home every chance she gets on those walks...
